Most kits consist of a dropped front axle and a rear spring spacer.
For the rear it's pretty straight forward, undo the u-bolts that hold the axle to the springs, insert the spacer blocks and reinstall the extended u-bolts.
For the front you will need to remove the bolts that hold the spindles in place as well as the spring mounts and steering controls, and reinstall them all on the new front axle assembly, a little more complicated but still only an hour or so of work.
First off, excellent choice in a vehicle. Second, It has what is called an IFS front end suspension **Find some one who knows what they are doing**. If you would like to save some money you can put the rear part on fairly easy. 1. Lift the trucks back end off the ground by the tow package, take off rear tires. 2. Place a pumped up jack underneath the middle of the rear axle with tow stands not far below. 3. once the rear axle is supported by the jack release the bolts from the shocksand the 4 u bolts holding the leaf back to the axle 5. Drop the axle unbolt the leaf packs 6. Bolt on the the nexleaf packs. 7. do exverything in reverse (you might want to record it and play it in reverse to see how this would be done)
NO you can not, won't work, engine won't run.
2001 and up have the option of 3rd row, but for the older body style 99 and below you can buy a 3rd row from a suburban and get a kit off eBay to install it, as i have done in my 99 Tahoe. They even sell the seatbelts and brakets to install it.
A lift kit will vary in cost depending on the size, quality, and vehicle. They can cost as little as $99 and as much as several thousands of dollars.
We have a video that I'll include a link to below that will show you how to do the rear brakes on a 92-99 Chevy Tahoe.

It depends if you want a bolt on kit or a custom kit, the largest bolt on kit is a 24" Full Throttle supension kit for a 99-04 F-250, F-350, and Excursion, you can fit any size tire underneath it. then you have the custom lift kits, the largest recorded on a street legal truck is a 52" lift with 54" boggers. I personally own an Excursion with the 24" lift kit, and I own an 01 dodge 1500 with 14" suspension lift with a custom 4 inch body, sitting on 49 iroks.
