This depends on the case.
Some 'break away', and cannot be re-attached.
If they have a screw hole, they can be screwed back on by simply sliding them into place, and screwing them in.
Others may use a different method, you'll need to see your case documentation or contact the manufacturer to be sure.
Or ask someone who has the same case. =)
Try deleting it from the computer. Then, eject the disc, and put it back in and it should automatically install or give you the option to install it.

You will have to be more specific as to what happened and what brand of computer you have. If you reinstalled windows, you will have to use the disk that came with your computer to install the sound card drivers. If you dont have a disk, go to the manufacturer's website and search for them.
