How exactly to do this may depend on which model Parrot you have. These are instructions for installing the MKi series, which utilizes a "blue box" that must be installed behind the dash somewhere. Google is your friend. Before you get started, order an ISO harness for your car, you can get them at Crutchfield.com and a couple other places online. This will allow you to do the install without cutting any wires and is worth the cost ( $30 US, but varies based on car ). 1 - Remove any access panels you need to access the radio. 2 - Remove the radio & disconnect the wires from it. 3 - Hook up one side of the ISO harness to the car and the radio. It only fits one way. 4 - Hook up the other side of the ISO harness to the Parrot harness. It only fits one way. 5 - Connect the Parrot harness to the Parrot blue box. 6 - Connect the Parrot display ( if your model has one ) to the Parrot blue box. 7 - Install the battery in the Parrot remote. 8 - Turn on the ignition. At the Parrot title screen, simultaneously press Green, Play/Pause, and Red on the Parrot remote to pair it to the blue box. You should be able to press the knob on the remote and control the system. Your phone will still need to be paired, but wait until later to do this. 9 - If everything works, turn off the ignition. You should see the "goodbye" message. If not, check the wiring and try again. You must connect the ground wire on the Parrot harness to a good ground or it will not work at all! 10 - Disconnect your car battery to prevent the A pillar air bags from deploying in case you hit something you shouldn't while running wires. 11 - Remove the A pillar cover on the drivers side, run the mic wire, replace the cover. 12 - Run the USB, iPod, Line In wires to the glove box or wherever you want. 13 - Connect the car battery. 14 - Turn on the ignition and confirm that the system is still working. 15 - Follow the directions in the manual for pairing your phone to the Parrot. 15 - Turn off the ignition and re-install the radio and any other panels you removed.
