First measure distance all around the frame, buy treated 2x4's to make that distance. -Nail , glue or screw the 2x4 to the ground , parallel to the upper edge of home frame. Now choose your preferred skirting. Aluminium corrogated sheet is best. Here in western Canada it comes in 8, 10 and 12 foot lengths and 30, 36 and 42 inch wide. Calculate and buy how much you need. Next install 2x4 studs between the ground 2x4 to the bottom of home frame. space these so each sheet can overlap an inch or two onto the 2x4 uprights. Leave at least 2 places to get in easily, and 2 vents, one at each end. Cut the sheet with metal 'aircraft' shears or a disc grinder. Screw on the metal with drill-tipped 1" screws. (these can be bought at most drywall suppliers.)
-It's a ong and tedious job, be sure you have good kneepads ! -Good luck.
You first be certain you are free from them, then make sure all skirting is solid and screwed down.

There is no stigma for modular homes that I know of,but a lot of people are miss informed about modular construction. Most people are confusing mobile homes with modular homes and there is a stigma about mobile homes and mobile home parks. Another confusing part is the term that is used to describe mobile homes. The term "Manufactured Housing" has been adapted by the mobile home industry to alleviate the stigma of mobile homes. Of course uninformed people bundle modular homes in this mix since modular homes are constructed in a manufacturing facility and are transported, but that is where the similarity if any ends.
