Buy the bracket from Honda with the hardware. in the front grill you will see two screw holes. Just line it up with the bracket and screw it on.. That simple
The Honda Pilot does not come with pre-drilled holes for a front license plate bracket so first you have to drill the holes. Once the holes are drilled then you can use the screws that came with the bracket to secure it into place.
Go to a Honda dealer and get a license plate bracket for that model/year. That's what I did for my 2006 Civic. It's held on by two screws on the bottom that go through two clips on the plastic grill just beneath the bumper. The top two screws just hold the license plate to the bracket. No need to drill holes in the bumper. Hope this helps.
I will be replacing one on a 2006 Pilot, and I'm not sure if this will work the same, but it requires you to remove the old hardware (if still attached), clip in the bracket on the front of the bumper, and bolt in the two flat, horizontal attachments underneath the bumper.
You need to purchase a front license plate bracket and the associated hardware and clips. If you search for Honda parts on the web, you will find dealer websites that have illustrated parts breakdowns. Don't forget the associated bolts and clip nuts.

Go to the dealership and purchase a license plate holder. There should be instructions as to the installation. You will need to drill 3 holes, denoted by dimples, in the bumper. Install the holder and then your tag.
Follow the instructions on how to install the trailer hitch from H and A. Here is the link http://www.handa-accessories.com/element/elementhitch.pdf
