2005 boulevard has a slide plate that cover the key slot to lock the front forks located on right side below the headlight. Hope this helps
In a 2007 Boulevard S40 the positive terminal of a battery is located where the red terminal is. Another characteristic that separates it from the negative side is the width of the positive terminal.
yes
...on the handlebar, right hand side. You have to have the push the orange switch forward (top part of switch pushed in), and then 2 buttons below that you have the actual start switch. Also, you must be in neutral and/or have the kickstand UP.
I got mine up to the mid 90s on the highway pretty easily, a number of times. Didn't have space to hold it for too long before my exit but I think it could have hit the 100s with enough space.
i am in the process right now, and am having difficulty. the battery that was purchased does not fit properly; vent tube side would face belt side if terminals are aligned. to access removal of old battery, though, i took of the side panel, removed/unscrewed where owner's manual/tools sit. then, just disconneted bolts from terminals and slid it out.
The oil filter is under a metal cap held in with three hex bolts just next to the exhaust pipe on the right side of the bike. You can't miss it once it's pointed out. You have to remove the cover and then access the filter.
