cant open the case to get to the dead batteries. How do I open the case
Seriously? Under the hood!!! I cant find the battery under the hood
wrench size 10mm and if your battery died and you cant open the trunk, you have to enter the trunk through the back seat and pull the safety nop to the left. there is a positive anode under the hood on the passengers side the jump will give you enough juice for the trunk button to open the trunk.
try removing the back seat to access the trunk
You get a door jimmy and ope the door for the cabin of the car then you use the tab on the back seat to pull the seat open to get into the trunk compartment....or you could break a window to get in the cabin. you cant call onstar though because they cant open the locks when the battery is dead.
the battery of your cobalt is located in the trunk of the vehicle. first place i looked was the hood and to my surprise it wasn't so i looked in my owners Manuel and read that it was located in the trunk. you cant look in the hood its under the hood actually it is in the trunk in front of the spare tire
I have a CLK 430 convertible and it is a pain. But you will find a positive post under the hood on the drivers side. There should be a plastic cover that flips up. You can jump the car from here or get enough juice to open the trunk by this method. If the trunk does not open turn the key in ignition to power up and then should open.
to jump start a Benz, with difficulties getting to the battery, first open the hood of the vehicle and locate the fuse box with the main red power wire, which is screwed in to supply the fuses with power. after locating the wire, hook up your power source such as another without it running and connecting the positive to the battery on one end and the screw head holding the red wire in place. this should provide enough power to allow you to gain access to your battery in the trunk...
you cant.
cant find the battery
no you cant because it is very impossible
Get a new car that's actually worth something.
