(be prepared!!) then after that he runs away and if u keep on moving soon you'll see giratina flying through the sky. keep moving then he comes to u and hes staring at u! BATTLE GIRATINA :)

to get giratina you need to go to the distortion world and catch it but when you go back to your world it will change it's form to altered form to keep it in it's original form you need to have giratina, beet the Pokemon league then go back to the distortion world and you will apper where you catched giratina,go down then you will see a pokeball go get it and it will give you the griseious orb now go back to your world again and give the griseious orb to giratina and it will change back to it's original form i have not don it myself but it will work trust me i have a book full of Pokemon platinum it is awesome having a book like the one i have

I'm sorry, :( you can onlt get the adamant orb (for dialga) in diamond a platinum. You are stuck with the lustrous orb (for palkia). Although the lustrous orb is obtainable in platinum aswell! So is the griseous orb (for giratina) which allows giratina to appear in it's origin forme outside of distortion world and it strenghthen giritina, ( as do all the other orbs. So sorry you can't.
Can you put Giratina orgin form on platinum?
yes you can, believe it or not. after you have completed the elite four, you must go to route 214. there, you will find a passage way in the trees on the right of you(where all the trainers are on not the caves). then you will be in a place called "Spring path". you need the move rock climb. follow the path and it should take you to a place called "Turnback cave". this is the place where you find Giratina on Pokemon diamond and pearl. you must go in there. it is a very big maze and a big cave, so you will run into Pokemon alot(not if you have lots of repels). if you take the right route, it will take you to the distortion world's shrine. you must go in the distortion world, and when you have a look around, there will be an item on the floor. the item is called the "Grisious orb". give the grisious orb to Giratina and it should be turned into the origen form. Giratina is in the origen form all the time, even outside of the distortion world.
