If your pump is doing that, then one of three things is happening: The pump is too powerful. Most AG pool pumps are 1 horsepower to 1.5 - the label should have this info. The hose is not connected securely. It should be connected to a PVC connector of the same diameter via a snug hose clamp. The filter is not allowing enough water back into your pool. Make sure it is set to filter. Failing this, your local pool service technician should examine your setup in person.
