At this age, relationships are HARD! you dont know if getting too serious is the right or wrong thing. in your case you dont want the relationship from getting TOO serious, so dont rush you partner until you are 100% sure you BOTH are ready. That Means avoid kissing, making out, a lot of PDA etc. Stick with hugging and arm around... a little PDA will never hurt as long as the people around you know about how you feel.

Males are "programmed" to seek out sexual partners. Especially when we're younger, the urge for sex can drown out all the other signals.
