You can get the no-skid mats to put under a throw rug (2' X3', $3 at Big Lots) and put it under the top of your mattress topper. I put it under my husband's side of the bed, since he scoots on and off - and moves the topper more.

What are some of the benefits of a memory foam mattress bed?

There are a many benefits of memory foam mattresses, but some still need to be clinically proven. One good point to mention is that certain pressure points when you lay down are relieved because of the soft impact resistant foam. Some people claim that it relieves pain and therefore provides a more restful and deep sleep. In addition some people have found that a more restful period of sleep can be achieved on a memory foam mattress while sleeping with a partner because of less disturbance when the other rolls over or shifts about.

Does the colour of a galaxy reflect its distance away from the earth?

No, however, we can determine whether a galaxy is moving towards or away from us, by looking at the shift in its spectrographic analysis. There are "red shifts" and "blue shifts" in spectrographic results. "Blue shifts" indicate that a galaxy is moving towards us, because the wavelength of the light emitted by the galaxy is compressed, causing it to shift to the blue end of the colour spectrum. "Red shifts" indicate that a galaxy is moving away from us, because the wavelength of the light emitted by the galaxy is being stretched towards the red end of the colour spectrum.
