I have an 95 model and I have seen out of balance tire cause this. Also a bug deflector in front of hood will cause different air stream and hit the mirrors just right to make them vibarate. I have had the same problem for all 11 years I've owned my truck. Finally I put some of that expanding spray foam (Great Stuff) behind the mirrors and it fixed the problem. Good for fixing interior rattles too.
