sounds like some one took off one or both wipers from the gear that works them and did not get them properly alined.
Open hood, remove plastic cover on passenger side over wiper motor. Carefully remove plastic cover over wiper linkage. Turn on wipers, (being careful of moving parts) and lubricate linkage with WD40 or some other lubricant. Turn same on and off a few times and it should be good. Put everything back together.
$330 is the price I found on Glass.net, an online auto glass shop, for your 2001 Pontiac Montana windshield. However, you can look in the yellow pages and other web sites to get comparison prices. The $330 is based on location so the price might fluctuate depending on where you live.
For the most part, yes. a 2001 Montana will be compatible with Chevrolet Venture ('97-'05), Oldsmobile Silhouette ('97-2004) and Pontiac Montana/Pontiac Trans Sport ('97-05) Also, if you're going to a junk yard for parts, keep an eye out for Buick Terraza, Saturn Relay, Chevrolet Uplander & Pontiac Montana SV6. These models range from year 2005 to 2010 (Not sure what year Buick & Saturn ceased production) Many parts are interchangeable with your 2001, with the exception of the rear tail light, front fenders, hood and nose clip assembly For example, the power sliding door from a Buick Terazza year 2008 will easily fit and work with your 2001 Pontiac Montana. Hope this helps.
I'm not sure of the years....same as the Lumina I'd imagine. But the Pontiac was called a Trans Sport and was later changed to Montana. The Olds Silhouette was the other name you're looking for.
100 ft/lbs of torque 15" or larger diameter wheels 5 on 4.5" bolt circle Most other GM FWD only cars will fit
There should be 2 fuse boxes - 1 in the right side of the dash when you open the passenger door and the other under the hood on the passenger side by the battery.
There are two fuse boxes for the Montana. One is on right lower side of dashboard. It has a pop off cover. The other is under the hood, left side. Both covers identify the fuses purpose therein. The same info is in the user manual.
there are two.. . one is under the hood ontop of the battery.. the other requires the passenger door to be open. then it is on the side of the dash that faces the passenger door.
I think they're 17 and 22 inches. You'll have to buy two sets because of this unequal length. One set can go on the car and the other set can go in the trunk for a rainy day ;)
pontiac gathered his tribe and other tribes and attacked the colonists
