you can not simply keep two betta's safe in one aqaurium. for them two be safe you need to use separate aqariums that are distant from each other or use a betta aquarium divider that is not clear so they can't see each other.
No. They will kill each other.
they are finichy only betta fish food is safe anything else will over fill poison or not provide enouph nutrients to keep the fisha alive
You can not keep Betta splendens males together without them trying to kill one another. You can only keep a male and female Betta s. together while they are courting and spawning. Afterwards he will kill her if she is not removed. You can keep male or female Bettas with most other species of fish with no problems.
put it in a tank with another male betta
Bettas are dumb as rocks. If you put another betta, any other anabantid like a gourami, or any long-finned fish in with a betta, the betta will fight it because he will think it's another betta. If you put a short-finned fish in with your betta, they'll live together peacefully.
Some betta kits come with bamboo; it's completely fine
All bettas will fight each other, male or female. Always keep them separated.
You can place a mirror in front of it and it will fight as though it was another betta. However if you keep the mirror in for too long your betta will get stressed out and die, so best not to do that.
Well, if you love your Betta fish, then it should live by itself. But if you add another Betta to your current Betta fish's tank, then they will start a fight because Betta Fish are Siamese fighting fish and if one Betta is in contact of another Betta, the possible reason would be a fight between them two.
This is the LAST thing you want to do! Putting a male betta fish in with another male is horrible because male bettas will fight to the death...not good!
Yes
A betta eats a few pellets or a pinch of flakes 3 times a day. It is best to use only food designed for a betta. Also keep in mind that a betta's stomach is the size of his/her eye.
