How do you kill Ganondorfs Puppet in wind waker?

Hit each of his strings 3 times and shoot his blue ball 3 times and he will turn into a spider. Look into the water , and when the spider drops go into the section where the blue ball is and shoot it it with a light arrow 3 times. Puppet Gannon will turn into a snake. He is really quick so you must have good aim to shoot the ball. He will FINALLY have been defeated.

He's really hard to beat, but here's how I did.

First of all, there are three forms. The first is a giant beast with two arms and two legs. To beat this one, you have to shoot the ball at the end of his tail with a light arrow. To make it easier, you can use the boomerang to make the strings break. You can break all of the strings except the one in the middle that's a pinkish red color. If you take too long breaking the strings, he'll go back up in the sky and come back down with all the strings reattached. Anyway, you have to hit the ball at the end of his tail with light arrows I think 3, 4, or 5 times. I think it was four, but I can't remember.

The next form is a giant spider thing. He'll try to fall on top of you, so watch the reflection of the water to see where he'll drop. You have to do the same thing: hit the blue shiny ball with light arrows four times.

The last one is a big snake, the hardest of all. Still, do the same thing. That form is really hard to do because he's so fast and he keeps ramming into you.

Also, in every form, he sends out some bats every once in a while. You can beat them easily to get more hearts and magic.

The first stage is a boar-like creature that greatly resembles Ganon from OOT, for experienced players. Equip the boomerang and, while avoiding its attacks, target the strings holding the puppet up. You only actually need to cut the one holding the tail up to be able to deal damage, but if you snap them all puppet ganon will be stunned and it'll make your job easier. Once the tail is free and trailing around on the floor equip the light arrows and shoot the blue ball with one. Do this three times. Sometimes he'll spin around like a drunkard and the boomerang won't be able to keep up to hit the strings. It's amusing to watch it try and keep up.

It ain't over yet! Puppet ganon will transform into a spider. For all this is the second stage, it's actually the easiest. Puppet ganon will be raised up into the air and will disappear. The camera angle will also rise above you and you'll be looking down on the arena with a bird's eye view. Luckily you can see puppet ganon in the reflection of the water on the floor. He'll spin around and come slamming down on you. When he does that roll out of his way so he hits the ground, and make sure to roll out under the side that has the blue ball on it. Fill it full of light arrows.

Now for the final stage. Puppet Ganon will transform again, this time into a snake. The blue weak point is on the end of the tail, but he'll be moving so fast it'll be hard to hit. His movement seem to be random, so there's a good chance he won't chase you down. If he does, however, he'll be moving too fast for you to get out of the way. You just have to aim at the blue ball with the light arrows and hope you get lucky. Hitting him three times will finish him off.

And don't worry about running out of ammo - occassional Keese will try and attack you, and if you kill them they'll drop supplies. Otherwise you should completely ignore them.

Part 1: It's critical in this fight to constantly use your Shield to block Ganondorf's attacks until the parry A appears. When this appears quickly press A and afterward attack his back several times until he recovers.

Repeat this until he takes out Zelda and this will begin part 2. Part 2: This is the same as part 1 only Ganondorf is more aggressive with his attacks and Zelda can't help you stun him. After hitting him some more Zelda should awaken beginning part 3.

Part 3: Talk to Zelda and she will tell you to use your Mirror Shield to reflect the Light Arrow on Ganondorf. Hold your Shield constantly until she hits the shield. If done correctly a very short cutscene will show and the arrow will hit Ganondorf. Go close to him and wait until the parry A appears. Quickly hit A to deliver the final blow.
