If you have to ask that question you know very little about the Cobra. The Cobra out handled the vette, beat it to 60 and in the quarter mile and had it on top end. Course you could get power windows and A/C in the Vette.

Sorry, all Cobras ( 60's and early 70's ) had the 427 Cobre Jet engine, and it all started in 1968 427's were dohc motors ,, 428 .428,Cobra Jet , were dif ,,429 , 429 Boss , then there was 302 , 302 Boss in 69
The Shelby AC Cobra 289 cost approximately $6000 USD in 1965. The 427 model was around $8000. The GT350 Shelby Mustang Cobra cost $4500.
That car didn't come with a 460 engine. They had the 289 ci, 390 ci and the 427 ci engine available in 1965. If it has the 427 ci engine it could be worth in a low retail situation $3,475. Average retail $10,300 and in a high retail situation $13,350. It's all about condition and factory options.
