How do you know if a girl is interested in you if you are a shy high school boy and she is also shy and you have talked but you get mixed signals and you can't tell if she is just shy or disinterested?

You may be able to see it if you look at her. Ask some of her friends. If you are getting mixed signals just act like you care about her. If somebody is talking crap about her defend her. Even if your friends would hate you, show her you like her and maybe you'll find out the answer. If you find out she doesn't like you, don't act weird around her but still show her you care. BTW If your friend gets mad at you for being by her or defending her, show your friend whats up. He would let you do what ever you want if he or they were good friends.
I was in the same situation as you. Was very shy, and got mixed signals from girls all the time. If you don't know for sure, ask her out to the movies or for some ice cream. Ice cream is always good. If you aren't comfortable alone, ask a group to go and invite her along. At school, as the first person said, show interest. Talk to her a lot, ask about her interested, SHOW INTEREST! If she still gives you mixed signals, you might just have to suck it up and ask her, strait up, if she would want to go on a date with you.
