How can you tell if he wants more than friendship?

Usually when a person wants more than friendship, they will make hypothetical comments saying if we were together we would have a great relationship. These sorts of signs give away a persons feelings. Another way to determine if a person wants more than a friendship is by the way he acts when the opposite sex talks to you. For example if John was at the mall with Jane and Jane's male friend Tommy came by and hugged her. John would somewhat become uneasy and try to intervene or he might just give Tommy that stare. In order to capture these details you must observe the many indications. Another way to determine if he wants more than just friendship, is if he always stares at you for long periods of time for no reason at all. And when you ask what? He's like nothing. The stare is the biggest give away, because he wants you to know non-verbally that he wants more with you and that you are what he has been looking for.

it doesnt matter who he is, if he is a close friend then he has wanted it to be more at least once. he may not have a massive overpowering crush right now, but i doubt he would say no if you asked him out... that's just how guys operate (me being one of them). I was actually talking to a couple of my mates about something similar, and none of them have ever had a close female friend who they haven't had a crush on at least once.
