If you have a bent valve slide, or valve, or valve casing, they usually wont move. Valve's and valve casings would prevent the valves from moving, while bent valve slides wont easily pull out. If you suspect a bent valve, valve casing, or slide, try cleaning and oiling it first, valves and slides can become stuck with the lack of valve oil or slide grease.
The trumpet player who is most famous for his bent up trumpet is Dizzy Gillespie. Hope that helps!

Most people say it was bent to a 45 degree angle.
Dizzy Gellespie
Dizzy Gillespie played a bent trumpet, the bell stuck up at a 45 degree angle. He once had his trumpet bent by accident, the tone of the instrument changed with the new shape, he liked the new sound and subsequently had a mis-shappen trumpet specially made to duplicate the sound of the broken instrument.
Dizzy wasn't looking and sat on his trumpet, and dizzy being dizzy, he started blowing into it and found out it made a cooler, unique sound. I don't believe that if he sat on his trumpet it would of hurt so that's wrong i don't know how his trumpet got that way but i know that that's not it Actually, his friends were at a gig one night and some of them were drunk. They told jokes to the audience until one of his drunk friends pushed somebody into Dizzy's trumpet. He was furious until he played it
