The only really accurate way to tell the sex of a bird is DNA testing, but it doesn't make any difference in how you care for the bird, unless you plan to breed it. In some birds though, the the males colors are much brighter, so that the females will notice them.
Females lay eggs, normally in January when in good breeding condition even when there is no male present.
I think you mean kitten, so here goes. First you have to be comfortable to do this. You take your hand and start felling around between its legs. If you feel little bumps, it's male, if not, female. Careful, your cat needs to be at least a couple of weeks old. Your cat may think you are going crazy.
male is huge and grey female is colurful
Its fairly unlikely but birds know just as much as you teach them.
When it comes to parrots i believe it is the African grey parrot. They have been popular world wide for their cognitive abilities. Well, the short answer Is you canβt really tell. But we own a female and we never knew if it was a boy or girl until she was 17 and laid eggs. We always assumed that she was a girl but now we know so if it. starts to lay fertile or infertile eggs then you know. Also you could get a blood test for them

There are no visible differences between pionus males and females. They can, however be sexed by a vet.
Parrots and chimpanzees share many common features, such as the ability to comunicate in context(use words/sign language and know what they are saying) In certain cases parrots in general, spcifically the African grey parrot exceeds the chimpanzee in intelligence. An African grey parrot can be taught that words are made up of different parts that can be rearranged to form new words while its believed that chimpanzees don't have that kind of understanding of the language.
yes they can eat chips my African grey loves them he is always next to my plate and taking my chips.
The only way to be sure is with a blood test.
