Well, if you want to know if a chickens eggs are fertilized, putt a 60 or 100 watt lamp under it and if it has veins, and it is black or some sort, then it is fertilized. If you don't have a rooster, then of course it isn't. But if you do, and you want to know, do this:
Put the egg carefully under a 60 or 100 light bulb
If it has veins, and is black, it is fertilized.

You should know this, but if you don't, butterflies lay eggs on leaves. They are so smart, they know where to put their eggs. If the butterflies doesn't know and puts it in a random leaf, that could be a problem.
