The idea that a witch can be identified by marks on the body is erroneous. This idea arose from the witch hunts in Europe and the America's. It is completely false. As a witch is defined principally by a set of beliefs and some ritual religious practice, the best way someone can tell if they are a witch is to learn about the belief structure and see if it fits the way you think about the universe and the nature of reality
Most times I would agree, but currently I believe I have seen stranger things in a stranger world.
This is a broad question depending on religion, belief, and experience. There are those who would say one way, and others who say...... basing the idea off of paganism and Wicca that it is not possible. I must say..... I've experienced enough to say everything is possible and if fate so plans it, a bloodline of potential spiritual gifts and the ability to use magic could leave you with a mark. Now mind you this is not stating the previous answer is wrong. Along their lines, they are perfectly correct. But as you are asking this more of a spiritual format than a religious, I will say yes. It is possible. I was born with one on my palms and every palm reader I come across is bewildered by it. I still have yet to figure out what it means entirely. But it is a mark based upon potential in spiritual power, and a past person I used to be. As well it is a symbol of the ancient bloodline that are my ancestors.
