bad rear swing arm bushings on some you can tighten
usually you can tell when your car doesnt turn or or doesnt turn over its because of your starter sometimes its not the starter it could be a low battery or corroded wires leading to the starter check that first;
bad solenoid in the starter or insufficient voltage to the starter
Turn the key to start and if nothing happens could be a bad starter.
If your 96 Honda doesn't start it could be lots of things. The only thing i know is that it could have a bad starter. It could be the battery. The starter might be loose. The wire from the starter to the distribuator might be loose. There could be mud and dirt in the starter and if there is stuff like that it's gone. It could have a bad ground and the last thing i can think of is the fuse. The wire might have been fried. Good luck.
You know the starter is going bad when you have a dragging starter.
