bad solenoid in the starter or insufficient voltage to the starter

The Honda Civic Hybrid will run fine on a dead battery, but acceleration will be sluggish.
A pre owned Honda Civic will only be a good investment if that Honda Civic is actually in a very excellent condition. However, if it is on the ok or bad side, then probably not.
could be a bad ground,a blown fuse, car is out of timing, bad starter, dead battery, ignition (were the key goes in)could be bad,if its a standard the clutch switch could be bad,run a wire from the starter to the battery make sure the car is in park or neutrual!!!!!!! then touch the wirefrom the starter to the positive on the battery it will spark but if it turns over more then likely you have a bad starter or starter solinoid, best thing you could do when owning a Honda is buy a factory manual at the part store there like $30.00 but it tells how how to do alot its like a do it yourself manual~Marcus
