It does not have a timing belt it has a chain
your timing is out
I know of no vehicle where the engine has to be removed to change a timing belt.
If the timing belt is broken the vehicle will not start.
Give more info., did previous timing belt fail?
don't wait if you intend to keep the car for a while then the belt change is advised as they only go once and when they do the engine will be very expensive to rebuild
Remove the timing belt cover and inspect the belt or change it every 90K miles.
If you can drive the car, the timing belt isn't broken. An engine will not start or run with a broken cam belt.
The timing belt should be replaced every 100,000 miles.
The 4 cylinder has a timing belt. I don't know about the 6 cylinders.
2.7 has chain, 3.4 (6cyl.) has belt
The Chevy 350 does not have a timing belt, It has a timing chain. If you are wanting to know where to set the timing, then I need to know the year of the engine. Thay are all different.
