What did you do that would have caused the motor to blow? No oil? It's probably dead. Over heated? Probably a head gasket, maybe the head. If it still turns over, will it run? If it has oil and water and will run, check the oil, if it is a head gasket or the head, the oil may look like chocolate milk. It may put clouds of white smoke out the exhaust or if you take the radiator cap off, water will shoot out of the radiator. All of these mean head gasket or head. Knocking is probably a rod bearing bad.
Motor blew out ?
Need to know what system blew.
how do you know if you blew your transmission?
No, The intrepid itself is a pile. I had one for not even six months and the motor blew up on me. Only way your motor is going to be good is if you rebuild the whole motor.
You most likely blew a fuse and have a bad blower motor resistor assembly
if the timing belt broke while you where driving you need a new motor it smashed the valves and blew the motor
No start No compression Seized?
Call your local junk yards, most of them will have or beable to get you a motor. I'm in the process of replacing my 95 s10 motor cause it blew up. If you are going to do the work yourself, make sure you know where every part goes back on, otherwise you will be looking for another motor. HawkMan
Your bank balance will drop dramatically!
The homophone of "blew" is "blue." "Blew" is the past tense of "blow," while "blue" refers to a color.
You probably blew the motor up. They won't last long without a functioning governor.
Yes, I blew a timing belt and have several bent valves, and corresponding nicks on the pistons to confirm it
