I don't know I can say I have a warrant in Colorado and had my name ran out in Texas and all they told me was I needed to go take care of my warrant in Colorado I didn't get arrested nothing I've also have been able to get my id employment and a apartment so guess if that helps idk

If you know that there is an outstanding warrant for you in Iowa your best course of action would be to call the Iowa State Police - identify yourself as an out-of-state resident who understands there is a warrant for your arrest. Ask what it is for and how to clear it up.

You can find out if you have a bench warrant by calling the criminal courts in the county where you live. If you could have gotten a warrant from another county, then you need to call that county as well.
