if it is an auto, you will have slippage even though the fluid has been replaced and filter changed, it will have a hard time shifting and may even be stuck in one gear.
For a manual, you will have a very difficult time shifting ( clutch is ok ) downshifting will be almost impossible and you may get permanently stuck in one gear.

MOPAR $22.02 Just call your local Jeep dealer and have them order you one. It will take about a week to get it in unless they have it in stock which is pretty unlikely. I know because I just got to order one today for my 1994 Jeep GC, the transmission guys broke the top of my oil dipstick while working on my Jeep :(
