Would be better to go to a dentist and have him exam your case on a personal level and decide what is best for you, rather than go by somebody else's descriptions over the internet which would have been tailor made for them
Yes, you do have to wear wire retainers. I know because I have an overbite and I am wearing wire retainers. :) Hope this helped
they are called retainers
ask your orthodontist. they will know what is best for you. like there is no "best" retainer.
Yes, because they need the impressions to make your retainers.
Nope, not permanently! You would need braces or retainers for that!
First remove the bumper cover. You need to take off the front grill to get at the plastic retainers that hold the top of the buimber on. There are about four retainers on the bootom of the bumper.
Each of the headlight assemblies are braced through the radiator support with a pair of retainers. The retainers for the right headlight assembly are in front of the battery. The retainers for the left assembly are in front of the washer fluid reservoir. Remove the retainers by pulling up on the retainer. With the retainers removed, the headlamp assembly falls forward. Reinstall the retainers to the square tabs on the headlamp assembly and the rivet on the radiator support
Remove the window and door handles, then all of the screws you can find, then the retainers on the sides and bottom of the door. You need a special tool for the retainers and maybe the handles. http://neons.org/howtos/door/
Yes you can put retainers in just about any piercing, just be sure to do it after you have cleaned the piercings, it makes getting the retainers in a bit easier.
The cap has a tang that must fit into the housing before you can engage the retainers.
I have a 1992 S10 pick up. I do not know if there is any difference, but first take the window crank off, then you need a type of pry bar and pop the plastic push in retainers out of the metal panel. My truck has 8 of them. These will have to be replaced. It is hard to save any of them. The retainers can be bought at any auto parts store rather cheap.
Retainers are made for practically every piercing imaginable. You just have to buy the right kind.
