Your E-350 van wont start there is a click sound when turning the key?

You should check your voltage on your battery first to make sure it is not dead. You should check your battery cables if your battery checks out to be fine

Why do your 1996 olds 88 makes clicking sound when trying to start it?

Low voltage from the battery, can be caused by a faulty battery or an alternator that isn't functioning properly. Bad starter Corroded battery connections or other electrical connections.

What is sound configuration?

Sound configuration is the setup of your sound card, volume, and speaker arrangement.

What causes a clicking sound and the car not to start when the battery is charged?

Then your battery is still not charged. The clicking sound is the solenoid that has a little gear on it that engages with the ring gear of the engine to spin it. There is a certain amount of voltage needed to push that solenoid into the ring gear and your battery isn't putting out enough. You'll need a jump to get started and then need to consider the battery.

How do you get a 1998 Honda Accord to start when battery is good but all it does when tring to start is make a small clicking sound?

It sounds like a bad cable connection at the battery/starter solenoid/ or the starter solenoid is bad. Check these areas. It could still be the battery. Check the voltage at the battery then try to start the engine. If the voltage drops below about 10 or 11 volts, the battery does not have enough of a charge. Try a battery charger for a while and see if you can get enough of a charge to start the engine. If the voltage is up when you try to start the engine, check the battery post connections. See if you have voltage THERE when you try to start it. Sometimes a corroded battery terminal will act the way you described. If that isn't it, check the connections to the starter. If you have good voltage to the starter when you try to start it, the starter is probably bad.

No sound after Windows 7 setup?

You need to install driver for your sound card.

What does the clicking sound from the solenoid mean on an Oliver tractor?

Could be low battery voltage, a poor connection(s) of wires, a bad starter, or a faulty solenoid.

You used a battery charger to boost the car and messed up headlights any idea on what you did?

sound like a voltage spike. that's when voltage goes over 15 . more than likey replace the bulbs and they should work again.

1999 Pontiac Sun fire will not start starter is not turning battery has lots of power when the key is in the ignition and turn to power on not to start engine there is a ticking sound?

battery cable is loose Also check... The ticking sound comes from the starter not getting enough battery power. Even though there is battery power, there is not sufficient load power from the battery to start the vehcile. Put a volt meter across the battery posts and try and start the vehicle. If the voltage drops below 9 volts you need a new battery.

My cub cadet wont start when turning switch it makes aclicking sound that comes from on top of pullie over blade?

That is probably your solenoid. It is what tells the battery to send voltage to the starter so it will crank the engine over. Most of the time it is just a low battery that makes it make that sound. There isn't enough voltage to keep the solenoid engaged. Although, it could be a bad solenoid. If jumping it doesn't start it then it is more than likely the solenoid. If jumping does start it then you need a battery.
