The area by the fuel filler should have a label reading "either diesel only" or "unleaded gasoline only". The area around the fuel gauge should have something like that also. If all else fails open the fuel filler cap and see what it smells like.
Don't know how much gasoline was put in or how much diesel was in the tank before gasoline was added but if you didn't run the engine after the gasoline was put in and you drained it, you should be okay.
Diesel.
they can both start a car
only if it has a diesel engine. A gasoline engine will not run properly on diesel fuel.
Yes
Who told you it is harmful? It is only harmful if it is a Diesel engine. If it is a petrol (gasoline) engine then Petrol is what it takes to run.
Well I know that the inventor of the gasoline powered car has been widely recognized as Karl Benz.In 1886, Gottlieb Wilhelm Daimler and Wilhelm Maybach invented the first four wheeled car powered by a four-stroke gasoline engine.Rudolph Diesel developed the first diesel engine.
I would just go with DIESEL and not GASOLINE
Put diesel fuel in a gasoline vehicle and it will not run at all.
Yes, petrol/gasoline will severely damage a diesel engine.
Yes if your tank is empty but not if it has some diesel in it, But not if your car runs on gasoline.
Gasoline in a Diesel vehicle will do some serious damage to the engine.
