Loss of power, poor fuel economy, stalling, rough idle, engine may overheat, and you may hear a blowing sound when accelerating.
Loss of power, poor fuel economy, and converter gets extremely hot.
Maybe the heat shield on catalyytic converter Maybe the heat shield on catalytic converter Maybe the heat shield on catalytic converter Maybe the heat shield on catalytic converter
Transmission torque converter or an exhuast catalytic converter?
It can't the converter is in the exhaust system
can some one help me i need to know if it's possible that the transmission converter dsmmsge the motof
Loss of power, hard starting, poor fuel mileage, and a blowing noise under full throttle. Also the converter will get red hot.
I'm not sure about rhodium, but i know that catalytic converters with platinum contain about 3-7 grams of platinum per converter.
As far as I know , the ( 2 ) oxygen sensors on a 1995 Ford Explorer are right in the outlets of the exhaust manifolds on both sides of the engine so they are both before the catalytic converter Bank 1 is the passenger side of the engine Bank 2 is the drivers side of the engine In a Ford Explorer
A Catalytic Converter reduces unburned exhaust gasses.
Loss of power, excess use of fuel, and converter will get red hot.
This work involves a torch and best with air tools. If you are not equipped, then it would be best to take it to a garage. I know, $$$$$$$$
I don't know about the catalytic converter (typically Rangers -at least the 4.0L V6 has 2 catalytic converters). But for the rest of the exhaust system : with 2 prebend pipes, gaskets and the muffler, you are looking at anywhere from $ 361 to $ 457.00 as of Dec 15, 2011. - it also depends on the shop who does the work. Hope this helps.
