Really, there are many reasons. Sometimes, if a guy isn'tyour friend, he will actually not be affectionate when he likes you. Sometimes he's mean. But in this case, he may blush when you say something mushy to him. Or he may tell you in person. Though, many guys want you to make the first move.

∙ 14y agoMe as a guy would say if he looks at you when ever there is an excuse like the teacher called on you or you are doing a project in front of the class, or if he seems to talk to you when ever he can he probably likes you. If you two both know the other one likes you he might act odd around you, he probably still likes you, he is just feeling awkward, but if you ask him out, he probably would start acting normal again (if the date goes well). You could probably tell by just thinking of what he was doing (in relationship to you) that day and it's not that hard to figure out if he likes you or not. Lastly if he is shy but likes you just say do you want to go out or do you want to ask since your the guy, then he will feel confidant that you'll say yes and ask you out.......
