Eating disorders are mostly psychological. The two main eating disorders are anorexia, when a person eats very small amounts of food and thinks they're overweight when they really aren't, and bulimia, when a person over eats and then tries to make up for it by throwing up. If this is happening to talk to a doctor, and most importantly, your parents.
Start of by seeing your doctor He should know if you have a problem and what sort of advice you will need to seek.
I think anorexia, or bulimia.
Binge eating disorder may develop as a response to anxiety, depression, stress, or as the after effect of another eating disorder.
With symptoms like that, a person may be suffering from a binge-eating disorder, a compulsive-over-eating disorder, or an emotional eating disorder.
I think you should see a doctor about that............................... No-psychological.
Yes, anyone may experience an eating disorder for many reasons, including stress or poor self image. If you are bipolar and suspect that you have an eating disorder, this is something to discuss with your therapist and/or medical doctor.
i would have to say no. a vaccine is something that prevents a disease. bulimia is an eating disorder. i dont think there is a vaccine for an eating disorder. sorry.
Binge-eating disorder is where you may feel shame or guilt about eating and those with this disorder tend to be on the heaver side.
Yes. That would probably be BDD (Body Dismorphic Disorder) or EDNOS (Eatin Disorder Not Otherwise Specified).
An eating Disorder is when someone has a problem were they think they're fat. Then they don't eat or if the do they make themselves sick after... ( I think...) :)
An eating disorder can lead to many severe health problems. With anorexia you may loose weight but not in a good or healthy way.
If you are not hungry, that is not a sign of an eating disorder. Not eating because you think you are fat can be a sign of an eating disorder. Most people with anorexia or bulimia have body dysphoric disorder, where they cannot really judge how they look. Regardless, skipping meals is unhealthy at any level.
You should consult your doctor immediately if you think you have an eating disorder. If your doctor feels that medication would assist you with your disorder then one will be prescribed for you.
