If you know the car is all original you can check the RPO codes located on the drivers door. This sticker list all accessory codes for your car. You can check this website for a list of GM RPo codes: http://www.marshu.com/ws6-firebird-camaro-gm-door-rpo-codes-2000.php If you bought the car used or it's been modified you can look for a tag bolted to the rear end cover or... jack the car up, rotate the rear tire one complete turn while counting how many times the driveshaft turns. ie you have a 3:73 rear end if the driveshaft rotated 3.73 turn to one complete turn of the rear tire.
