it rattles really load like the sound of worn tappets but bit louder easiest way to check is to remove rocker cover and look at the cam it will be very obvious if it is worn
your timing is out
The camshaft position sensor is a part of the distributer. There are 2 electrical plugs going to it, 1 is for the coil, the other is for the Camshaft sensor.
i need to figure out how to replace a camshaft out of a hondaccord lx, the cam gear is still good but the camshaft broke off in the cam gear and i just need to know what to do cuz this is my first time ever messing inside the engine and i need to know how to do the timing on it
The camshaft sensor is the same as the crankshaft sensor it is local on the passenger side of the valve cover . And going down to your crankshaft inside the timing belt cover
On the front of the driver's side head. There should be two wires going to it.
Underneath the rotor in the distributor. Crazy I know...
Need to know the year and engine size.
Need to know the year, They are all different. SORRY.
Need to know the year and engine size.
iF IT WERE UP YOUR AZZ YOUD KNOW!
It should be behind the camshaft postition Sensor in the timing box attached to the end of the CamShaft. It allows the computer to know where the cam shaft is in order to properly inject fuel to the proper valve at the proper time.
I would like to know the samething!
