The fuel pressure and output volumes must be tested to begin with, as should electrical voltage at or near the pump (electric ones). Most preferably at the moment that you seem to be experiencing a problem; easier said than done in some cases.
When trying to diagnose intermittent fuel pump problems, your best and easiest option is to visit your favourite mechanic, again, preferably at a moment when you are experiencing the problem. Trust me, most mechanics will drop what they are doing for a moment to try and get a handle on an intermittent problem now, rather than wait for the problem to occur on a test drive later. The mechanic will probably install a temporary fuel pressure gauge, and possibly a flow meter, that can be read by either you or them while driving, and most particularly while a problem is being experienced.
Don't know what you have, but I have a 97 3.9 V6 & fuel pressure calls for 44 to 54 psi
don't know
I would like to Know of any recalls on a 1994 dodge dakota?
There are many types of warning lights on the Dodge Dakota. In order to know what a specific light means we need to know which light it is and what year the Dakota is. 2000
Yes. as far as I know.
My '93 single-cab short-bed holds 15 gallons. Some hold 22.
The fuel filter is in the pump that is in the fuel tank. I know this because I own a 2006 Stratus and have just purchased a fuel pump assembly. The assembly contains the pump, filter, and fuel level float and sending unit. AIRTEX part #: E7167M.
***SUM'S Answer***-As far as I know, owning a Dakota with a 318. Yeah it should work.
