Firstly, sit and discuss this with your medical doctor...
Each and every woman is different in regards to symptoms...I myself, will get minor cramping for just a few hours with no change in basal temperture; my sister gets no cramping, but a slight increase in basal temperture; our other sister gets neither, but rather a small headache lasting several hours.
Your doctor may suggest making a monthly chart of your temperture; may I respectfully suggest to add other details as they may be an indicator: headaches, cramps, nausea, hunger, food cravings, mood swings, sleeplessness, fatigue...the list goes on...after several months you may notice a pattern which may or may not indicate when you are ovulating, about to ovulate (as in my and one of my sister's case), or that it is passing. But first and foremost, please discuss this with your physician.
There are primary fertility signs such as a change in basal body temperature, changes to cervical position, fertile cervical mucus, and then secondary fertility signs such as a swollen gland in the groin as well as swollen labia on the side of the body you're ovulating from. Some women will also experience symptoms such as breast tenderness, changes in moods, spotting, and ovulation pain.
In order to know when you're ovulating you'd need to either use Fertility Awareness Method or use ovulation testing kits - the former is more accurate and will also tell you when you are fertile.
