If the brake light fuse is good and the brake light bulbs are good it's probably a faulty brake light switch.
As far as I know, they are not on the same fuse/relay.
Remove and replace the fuses one at a time whilst pressing the brake peddle until the lights go out.
try to check down the brake pedal
Check the brake light switch.
I had this problem in my 1998 Honda Prelude. The brake fuse light may be blown out. Under the hood in my Prelude, there is a black box. Open it and check for a brake fuse that may be blown. I think there was some wording on the box for me such as "Light" for me to distinguish the right fuse. The tiny wire inside the fuse will be split in half, so you know that it is the one that is blown. I bought some new fuses at Pep Boys and changed it. Now my brake lights work.
will you please let me know exactly fuse brake light in 1996 lincoln town car.
the heater doesnt work in my saxo dont know where the fuse or relay is
There are two fuse locations; One is a panel on the driver's side, in the end of the dashboard accessible only with the door open; The other is a black box under the hood, behind the battery. The brake light fuse is in the one under the hood. It should be a 20 Amp square fuse and the diagram in the cover identifies it as ST LIGHT (short for stop light, not brake light like some people might think, I know it took me a few minutes to figure it out). If you are looking at the box from the fender side, you should see two long rows of square fuses and the brake light fuse should be in the left row, fifth from the engine side.
I don't know what a Citroen Dispatch is. Is it like a citronella candle but only dispatches itself after a certain amount of time?
Check ALL of the fuses with a test light then you will know they are good
Something has gone wrong with the Antilock Brake System . It could be a fuse , a sensor , or some other problem As long as the red " BRAKE " light is not on in your dash you still have " normal " braking * in my case , the ABS warning light suddenly came on and the first ABS fuse that I checked was not installed all the way . I touched the fuse with my finger , heard a click , and the ABS warning light went out ( I don't know how that could have happened to the fuse ! )
