The code thrown will tell you which one is bad. Codes p0130 thru p0135 all refer to the upstream sensor under your coil packs. Codes p0136 thru p0141 all refer to the downstream sensor under the van.
The sensor used for displaying the engine coolant temperature on the gauge in the dash is located near the thermostat housing. I have included a link that has pictures that show its location. Just click on the pictures to enlarge them. When you do, you can see the wires that go to the sensor. Good Luck, Greg
Hi, If you are referring to the fuel LEVEL sensor, it is located on the Fuel Pump assembly, which is located inside the gas tank. If you need to replace it, the gas tank will need to be drained and removed to get to this assembly. Good Luck, Greg
It is located on the bottom of the oil pan. You must drain the oil first. Remove the bolts from the sensor. Disconnect the sensor from the sending unit wires. Then just fasten the new sensor, connect the wire clip to sensor and fill the oil back. Optional, disconnect battery before installation to reboot computer and reset code. Good luck.
To see pictures of the Venture fuse boxes (there are two), follow the link attached to this question. Good Luck
Hi, You didn't mention exactly what lights you are interested in, but I have included a link to the fuse boxes for the 2001 Venture. Good Luck, Greg
Chiltons auto manuals have good diagrams, your oxygen sensor is on your exhaust in front of the catalytic converter.
From my experience working on Chrysler,Dodge,Jeep vehicles. The only good oxygen sensor is from the dealer.
It requires a special socket and it is only good for oxygen sensor replacement. Buy the socket and unplug the sensor ,install the socket and remove the sensor.
The outward appearance of a defective oxygen sensor is no different than the appearance of a brand new one. The components that fail are internal and cannot be repaired ... direct replacement is the only fix.
Hi, The Throttle Position Sensor is located on the back side of the throttle body, towards the firewall of the van. You may have to remove the big air intake hose to get to it. You should see three wires coming out of the electrical connector to the sensor. The colors are Black, Gray, and Dark Blue. If you find that connector with those 3 wire colors, you have found the sensor. Good Luck, Greg
The fuel level sensor is located in the fuel tank and is mounted on the fuel "sender" assembly. This is the assembly that contains the fuel pump. The sensor comes as a unit with the attached float. The sensor can be changed, separate from the fuel pump, but it may be a good idea to change the whole assembly while you are there IF you have had any problems with it. But you can save a little money by just changing the sensor. You will have to drain and remove the fuel tank to get to the assembly.
this happen to me and turned out to be corrosion on battery terminal, clean them very good.
