How do you loosen a tensioner that seems to be stuck in a 1990 Mazda B2200?

I will assume you are regarding the pulley for the power steering? If so to loosen it use a socket on the top of the pulley it should have a flat head style appearance.Loosen it clockwise and then the big nut on front of the pulley is a 7/8 inch combination wrench loosen it and the pulley should slide down to make the PS belt loose. This pulley is kind of weird but,by loosening the top bolt (metric) the bolt will come up as you take the tension off. Then YOU defenitely have to loosen the nut on the front of the pulley itself which alloys the pulley to move up or down.To adjust back with new belt on run the top bolt which is behind the pulley with the flat head cut in it run it down tight then tighten the nut on front of the pulley this locks the pulley in place so it will not move.Hope this helps. If this question is in reference to the tensioner for the timing belt resubmit your question.

What kind of engine is in a 1986 Mazda B2200 diesel?

While being you have diesel that is a 1986?I have nothing to support that book wise.Because Mazda only made a diesel version from 82-84 that was a 2200.While this may be b2200 the only thing I can tell you is most of Mazda's engine ohc,and the 82-84 yr models the engine was made by Mitsubishi, and the 86 gas engine b2000 Mitsubishi.I am not sure what it is you want to know?I realize Mazda may have offered diesel in the 1986 model and it is not listed in my chiltons or haynes that I can find.If you need to clarify just click on the discussion tab on this post to reply back.

How do you get the power steering pump off 99 chevy s10?

You need to remove the pulley from the pump to access the bolts that hold it to the bracket. A special puller is needed to remove the pulley and press it back on without damage to the pump or pulley. Most auto parts stores will rent you the tool to do the job correctly.

How do you Remove Mazda B2200 lower timing belt cover?

You can do it without removing the driveshaft pulley but it's easier If you remove the pulley. To remove the pulley, take out the six small bolts that surround the driveshaft bolt (which is the big one in the middle). These little guys are awkward but you can do it. Then pull off the pulley with a pulley removal tool and then you have easy access to the lower timing belt cover. Then just remove the three or four bolts that hold this cover on and you have exposed the sacred lower innards. Congratulations. If you touching your timing belt make sure everything is all lined up when you put it back. Driveshaft pulley has a mark on the top (a little notch) and there is a little metal line thing on the lower housing above it. Right in the center. Then make sure your top cam wheel deal is also lined up with the one just under the arrow. Mine actually sits left half a tooth but works great there. Have fun =)

How is a cylinder Head removed from a Mazda B2200 2.2 4 cylinder engine?

This is an overhead cam engine which means you must remove the imiong belt in order to remove the cylinder head. That of course means you must be able to get back on correctly. This is not a job for a novice. The basics: Remove the air cleaner, valve cover, timing belt cover, timing belt, Rocker shafts, Cam, Ehast manifold, intake, cylinder head.
