A good way to learn in a lecture class is to force yourself to pay attention by constantly taking notes. Write down or type almost everything the teacher says. As soon as possible after the class, type or systematize the notes into an organizational form that makes sense to you. Use color, various fonts, italics, boldface, charts graphs, boxes, and other visual patterns to make a connection with the information so you can remember it. This is a lot of work, but when you are finished you will have a textbook of the lectures, and studying will be very easy, since it is all organized in your own system.
