You can channel it into something constructive, for instance, working to learn as much as you can in the time that you have.

Another thing you could do is change your focus. Instead of only focusing on the negative long-term, we can learn to focus on the positive short-term (How can we make this day, this moment better?) and the positive long term (What do we want to accomplish long-term... who do we want to become?).

Either way, you probably don't want to be focused on worrying all of your life. If it is too hard for you to change your focus alone, I suggest seeing a counselor or a religious leader (whichever you prefer). Getting another perspective is important, and learning not to let our obsessive thinking get in the way of our happiness.
