The Glenfield Model 10 is a single shot .22 rimfire rifle. 1. Open the bolt by rotating the bolt handle up then pulling back. This will open the loading chamber and ready the gun for loading. 2. Place a single round of .22 short, long or long rifle ammunition in the open loading chamber, bullet facing forward. 3. Push the bolt handle forward until it stops, this will push the single round into the firing chamber or breech. Rotate the bolt handle downward to lock the chamber closed. 4. Cock or arm the firing pin by pulling back the knob on the back of the bolt until it locks the rearward position. Do this with the gun pointed in a safe direction as there is not any kind of mechanical safety on this rifle. 5. The rifle is now loaded, cocked and ready to fire. Discharge the rifle by pulling the trigger with the gun pointed in a safe firing direction. 6. Repeat steps 1 through 5 each time you wish to fire the rifle. As I mentioned earlier, there is no manual safety integrated into this gun. The safety feature is to not cock the rifle until you are ready to fire, that way a round can be chambered safely while hunting small game. These are very accurate little guns, I hope you enjoy it. Safe shooting.

Generally speaking, no. You can only fire the caliber for which the gun is chambered. There are some exceptions, but not many.
Depends on exactly which model it is, and the condition. $100 to $500+. sales@countrygunsmith.net
