It is unlikely. The potential for success is predicated on how he uses the nickname. If it is a registered alias, and you are law enforcement, you may perhaps be able to locate information regarding the inmate. If you are a private citizen, the odds of success are near zero.
You can search for all current inmates in the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) institutions, including Chino, online. Information for inmates recently admitted into or transfered between prisons may not be available for several days. If you still cannot find an inmate, you can contact the Department's Identification Unit at (916) 445-6713.
I'm a police officer and recently a case has been reopened in my jurisdiction. However, the suspect has recently been moved to a different state and I was never informed of the destination. How can I locate an inmate of another jail?
i would go to the library and look it up on google maps
Many states/counties provide inmate records online. You can start with the county sheriff's office or detention center. Vinelink also provides inmate records for many counties in the country. You can search the database by the inmate's name. Results may include incarceration date, expected release date, type of offense and sometimes photos of the offender. If inmate searching is not available for the jail, you can call the sheriff or detention center for inmate information.
Every state has an inmate locator that should be helpful for your purposes. Just look for an inmate locator and you would have to search the database in each state.
