The LS2 uses the Ecotech V6 engine, and as such does not have a timing chain; instead, it uses a timing belt.
The camshafts (4) and crankshaft are held in position by a special set of tools designed just for that job. Do not attempt to replace the timing belt without the set of specialized clamps.
