You can keep a butterfly alive during the winter months as long as it is kept inside in warm temperatures. They are not able to regulate their body temperatures and this is why they usually die once it gets colder outside.
Home: You put it a net/something with holes in it (find something reasonably big). Food: Cut Oranges into tiny pieces, make sugar water and soak a sponge into it you probably found the butterfly on a plant so pick a flower from that plant and put it in a small container with water this is all good food for the butterfly. Shelter: If you keep it's home outside, when there is a strong wind or rain either put it on your porch if there's rain. But if there's a strong wind you'd be better off bringing it inside. Resting/sleeping: Sometimes your butterfly will fly somewhere and stay there for a while it's resting/sleeping.
If you find a butterfly with a torn you can try to carefully use a small bit of lightweight transparent tape to mend the wing. This may allow the butterfly to fly again and to live long enough to reproduce-it may even let it live out its normal lifespan.
You can feed a weak or injured butterfly a diluted sugar water; sometimes just plain water can be enough.
1. First of all, learn how to handle a butterfly. (Rubbing the powder off the wings will not prevent it from flying.) Be sure that your hands are dry. With your thumb and index finger, grasp the butterfly by the wings just above the body and as close to the butterfly's shoulders as possible. Very light pressure is needed. If the butterfly seems agitated, turn it upside down. This will immediately calm it down.
2. Place the butterflies feet on a moistened pad that has been saturated with feeding solution (mix one teaspoon of sugar in one cup of filtered water).
3. If the proboscis does not extend naturally, help it out by uncurling it with a toothpick. Carefully place the toothpick into the center of the curled proboscis. It will look like a coiled watch spring. Then gently uncurl it until it makes contact with the feeding pad. You may have to hold it in place for a minute or so before the butterfly begins feeding.
4. Once the drinking tube is extended, watch for any up-and-down pumping action of the proboscis. If no motion is detected, take the forefinger and thumb of each hand and hold the butterfly's front wings near the front edges. Hold each front wing, one between each set of your fingers, as close to the butterfly's body as possible.
5. Begin to move the wings up and down in a flapping motion. This action may start the suction inside the proboscis and draw the needed food for the butterfly.
There are many ways that you could look after butterflies including giving them a safe habitat with no predators. You could also feed them nectar.
It is hard to do much for an injured butterfly. The best way to care for one is to put it in a safe place where it can eat and drink but cannot be attacked by predators.
In the Winter, butterflies migrate to the south. For example, Monarch Butterflies fly to Mexico. Some are known to have flown up to 2,000 miles for survival.
Nursing an injured or sick butterfly is a difficult task. However, trying to give the insect some slightly sugared water on a cotton swab may help.
how do you take care of a dracaena deremensis plant
monarch butterfly
Butterfly wings tend to feel slippery with a talcum powder like substance covering it. Handle their wings with care because tears affect their ability to fly.
I saw a butterfly? The butterfly was yellow and blue? I saw a butterfly that was loads of different colours?..
I think it is more interesting to take care of a butterfly because when it grows up the color of it is very beautiful.

Many different people may care for an injured athlete. These include doctors, nurses, athletic trainers, physical therapists, and EMTs.
Depends on the injury my dear fellow.
Take it to a vet, where proper care can be given.
