∙ 13y agoAttempting to portray yourself in a different light in order to attract someone is by far one of the worst ideas for a successful long-term relationship.
Eventually it will come out that you were not who you said you were, and even if the relationship lasts for a good while, there is a sort of stress on it that should not be there in the first place. Honesty is key in any relationship, and appearing to be something you are not in order to look "cool" is a lie that you may have to carry throughout it.
That said, some ways to catch the other party's eye may be to take a bit more care of your appearance. Wonders have also been said about wearing the colour red. Also, take a bit more interest in the things that they are interested in, find some common ground and develop upon that. If you must act, act confidently, but not to the point of crudeness. Do not fall into the "Nice Guy" act, and be upfront about your thoughts and feelings.

and fix your hair, don't look like you just woke up!!
makeup is also good but not to much just like lip gloss and mascara.
dress nicely, guys like girls that are presentable to their friends.
brush your teeth!!
pop the zits honey!!or grab some proactive or something!!
