The center bolt holds the hub in place, and don't have to be removed to change a tire. To get the wheel off you only need to undo the 4 outer bolts. Sometimes rust build-up around the center nub and the rim locks the wheel in place real bad. Some people loosen the bolts, and then take a few sharp corners, I usually put a wooden block against the inside face of the rim, and then whack it good with a sledgehammer.

loosen the one or two bolts holding the alternator in place, i believe 14mm, then loosen the 12mm on the adjuster (side) and "screw" the 12mm bolt down to lower the alternator down enough and replace the belt. This is almost the same for every Toyota engine which doesnt use an automatic belt tensioner (serpentine) on the alternator.

disconnect neg.battery cable. disconnect wires from alternator. loosen pivot and lock bolts. detatch drive belt. remove pivot and lock bolts from the bracket. installation is reverse of these steps.

Remove the Negative terminal. loosen all belts as well as the tensioner bracket first then unplug the connector (+), then remove the remaining 4 bolts. Try disconnecting the negative terminal while the engine is on, if the car dies it is your alternator.
