Stop exercising them. The muscle will atrophy. (Also, you'll probably lose weight rather than gain it; muscle is more dense than fat.)
You can make your thighs and legs skinner without gaining any muscle by running long distance
yes the extra weight you gained is just muscle... your legs are burning fat and gaining muscle. you'll lose size in your thighs and whatnot, but the "weight" you're gaining is muscle (which weighs much more than fat). try not to judge your body by the number displayed on the scale. try measuring your thighs once a month or something. i promise they'll get smaller, and then they might actually grow in size a little but they will be toned and firm
That sounds like a really weird desire. Losing weight on legs would be through losing some weight all over, and not doing any strenght building exercises for the legs. For gaining weight on stomach I have no idea, unless you can get pregnant.
"Big" legs are caused by an increase in the amount of muscle and fat buildup in the leg area. If the person is overweight, then the leg consists mostly of fat and muscle needed to support the weight of the individual. However, if the subject is low in weight and feels that their legs are "too big," this is either due to genetics or too much workout on the legs. The best way to achieve smaller legs is to go running (though it will construct the legs into a muscle power hard as rock). If running only causes your legs to blow up by muscle gain, then the legs were small to begin with. Also, running gets rid of the cellulite gathered around the thigh area, creating a smoother look on the thighs rather than the ripple effect from the cellulite. Overall, losing weight can have the same effect as gaining smaller legs. This is through experience and not through any type of superficial knowledge.
Yes and no, running works your legs. If you do not strain muscles, they cannot tear which what makes them stronger. Without the strain you lose muscle. When running you work your leg muscles, so those muscles you won't lose but upper body isn't worked as much so they will shrink.
Give it three to four weeks for you to be noticibly more tone. Another thing that would help would be if you stretched your legs out before and after you work out, because it keeps the muscles from just bunching together.
i think tat it moves our arms and our legs without muscles or bones we wouldont be able to move our legs.
when you sit are of your muscle pressure goes to your legs, to make them stronger to hold you up. So depending on your weight And muscle value you could hold up to 2x your weight.
Running will certainly tone up your muscles, but don't forget ... muscle weighs more than fat.
If you choose to pick running up as an exercise, it could greatly help your legs out by losing fat there and gaining more muscle.
No. If a horse breaks one leg the other legs can't stand the added weight because there is no muscle below the knee to support the animal.
There is no way to just lose weight from you legs. The only way to accomplish this is through an overall healthy diet and exercise plan. Everyone's body loses weight in a different area first.
